ESAF Community Schools are an innovative child development educational program aimed at the overall development of the student with community participation and active involvement of the parents. Since its inception, the schools are designed to run using locally generated resources with minimum infrastructure. Locals are given intensive training for various roles. Erecting of school sheds, payment of teachers salary and other needs are met through the community’s contribution. A unique curriculum, specific to the community, is developed impacting three domains of learning: cognitive, affective and psychomotor.
