ESAF partners with Micro Energy Credits Corporation for a carbon credit programme under UNFCC. Micro energy products promoted through ESAF is registered for carbon audit and an UN-accredited agency conducts audits on a regular basis. In the carbon audits carried out during 2019-20, ESAF received an 88.54% project rating and 99.98% institutional rating for the monitoring period 9 (MP9). 4,30,445 tonnes of carbon have been replaced cumulatively through various clean energy activities of ESAF till March 2020.
