Balajyothi is a flagship program of ESAF Foundation, focusing on the holistic development of children. Balajyothi clubs focus on developing children from marginalised communities through time-tested integrated programs. The initiative is the umbrella project of existing and new child development projects of ESAF. The project envisions a child-friendly society, where children are empowered to advocate for their rights and work productively for the development of their community and contribute towards national development.

Balajyothi Clubs aim to cultivate future leaders who can actively participate in community development issues. Balajyothi study centres aim to improve students' academic performance. These components of the program are essential factors that contribute to a child's overall development. The Balajyothi Club program provides access to academic support, opportunities and access to platforms for personality development, and leadership development. The children participating in the clubs are expected to develop into wholistic individuals with varied skills to contribute to the society.
